The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Awards Ceremony
On the evening of 21st June, we celebrated the hard work and perseverance of the students who have participated in the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award here at BSP this year.
Participating in the Award is a personal challenge and not a competition against others; it pushes young people to their personal limits and recognises their achievements. The award can be pursued at three different levels: Bronze, Silver and Gold. This year, we had the pleasure of awarding 31 awards: 19 Bronze, 8 Silver and 4 Gold. Congratulations to all those who have achieved such an honour as well as those who will continue to pursue their goals in the coming years.
Gold Award Recipients
We want to give special recognition to the Gold Award recipients as the group has been together since Bronze and have worked for years to all successfully complete their Award together as a group. They received a gift at the Award ceremony and will be presented their Gold Award certificate during Prize Giving in front of the whole school community. Well done to them for their perseverance and dedication!
