Year 9 Design & Technology Week
Following on from the resounding successes of the past two years, and as part of our annual Design & Technology week with Year 9, pupils have once again been designing and manufacturing deckchairs.
Each fully-folding and adjustable deckchair has been handcrafted from the highest quality solid beech and finished with oil to provide long lasting protection outdoors. The chair sling has been screen printed with a unique design created by each group of pupils, and is complemented by a footrest, a double pocket and a small pillow for extra comfort. All textiles are fully removable and washable.
Update – all 14 of these unique deckchairs have now been sold. Every cent raised will go towards supporting our UWS schools in Cambodia. Thank you.
