EYFS & KS1 Singalong Festival
The EYFS and KS1 Singalong Festival got off to a fabulous start on Tuesday 20th June at 09.15, just in time for La Fête de la Musique. A little early for most, and we certainly needed to warm up our voices well before launching into our hour long Sing Along Festival. Nursery and Reception woke up our voices with super warm up songs like “Hello… Do, Re, Me…Row, Row…” with a big scream when we mentioned the crocodile.
Years 1 and 2 had a lovely selection of songs and we shared songs together with EYFS and KS1. The parents were totally on board, joining in happily, singing and clapping along and sharing in all of our songs. English songs, French songs, The Nightingales singing club, Alfie on the guitar, rounds, canons and a general dancing session together at the end tied up our 3rd annual Singalong Festival. A happy and joyous musical moment where the children all performed together.
