Sixth Form Summer Ball
At just before 7.00pm the sun appeared! Balloons, bubbles, flowers, and fairy lights set the scene for our guests of honour: Year 13, our Leavers of 2023, and of course our Year 12, who will succeed them come September. The Bondi beach crowd of the morning had transformed into the well groomed, stylish and elegant BSP Sixth Form students. Hair had been styled, suits had been pressed, and ball gowns graced the terraces.
The photographer got to work as the music played. There were selfies; there were portraits; there were more selfies; there were small group photos; there were big group photos; there were selfies; and there was drone footage.
The buffet was sumptuous; the awards, so thoughtfully created and executed by Diana added a lovely touch and the decorations were magical.
My sincere thanks also go to our Parents’ Association, the BSPS, for securing such a beautiful venue and providing the photographer, to Mr Hendriks for his amazing DJ setup and floor filling skills at the turntable and to all the staff and students who contributed to the event in so many ways.
As you can have no doubt from the photographs, we all enjoyed a wonderful night of celebration.
