Sports Awards 2023
Last Thursday over 200 people, including pupils, parents and coaches, gathered to celebrate the sporting year at the Senior School with the annual Sports Awards evening. It was a chance to reflect on the success of our students, and to say thank you to all those who have been involved this year. It was also an opportunity for coaches to present awards to players from their teams, namely Most Improved, Team Player and Player of the Year. The senior teams also presented a Players’ Player award, voted for by the team and awarded to the player who was deemed to have had the most influence on the squad throughout the year.
Services to Sport awards were presented at the very end of the night to students who have been at the BSP for a number of years and who have made a significant contribution to the sports programme during their time with us. To much amusement we even managed to find photos of some of the recipients from years gone by.
The evening proved to be a great success and, once again, we would like to thank all those who have helped with and participated in sport throughout this year.
