Festival of Discovery
Last Saturday, at the BSP Junior School Festival of Discovery, parents took the chance to go back to school and experience first-hand some of the inspiring teaching that goes on in the Junior School.
Whether they were programming, trying out their Chinese calligraphy skills, mastering Minecraft, building a Kapla marble track, learning top tips for times tables or answering Mr Potter’s fiendish quiz to find out if they were smarter than a ten-year-old, all the parents were fully engaged in their chosen activities and left the school feeling that they had had a true insight into their children’s everyday learning experience.
Thank you for joining us for this unique day of learning. Given the overwhelmingly positive feedback we are planning to organise more festival days at both the Junior and Senior schools. Keep an eye out in this newsletter for future dates and don’t forget all parents are welcome to join either or both schools’ events regardless of where children are taught.
