D&T Trip to Villa Savoye
In an annual event, the Year 13 architecture students visited Villa Savoye in Poissy this week. The building is regarded as one of the finest examples of modernist architecture in the world, and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The tour gave the students technical insights into the genius of Le Corbusier’s design, and will hopefully inspire them as they now embark on the design stage of their A Level coursework.
