Senior School Sports Day
The whole of the Senior School converged on Croissy Stade for our annual Sports Day, with track finals taking place in the morning and a carousel of fun house events in the afternoon. The track finals included the 100, 200, 400 and 800 metre races, with the high jump competition also taking place during the course of the morning. There were 3 new School records set; two individual and one relay. The two individual marks were both set by Vince Csaszar in the Year 12 boys’ 100m and 200m finals, and the Year 12 boys’ 4 x 100 metre relay team also set a record, becoming the first BSP relay team to ever go under the 50 second barrier.
The long jump competition took place in the final sport lessons, and the results of these competitions will be added to the Sports Day totals so that this year’s house winners and overall champions can be announced in the final assembly on Monday. A big thank you to all staff and parents who came to help and support on Sports Day and many congratulations to all the pupils for their efforts.
