Year 7 French Trip to Château de Monte-Cristo

To round off the year, the French Department took Year 7 pupils to visit the Château de Monte-Cristo where they learnt about Alexandre Dumas, author of The Three Musketeers. The pupils particularly loved the Château d’If, Dumas’ writing studio, and discovered that the property had briefly been the home of the BSP in the 1950s and 60s.
