Year 6 Residential Trip

On Tuesday 14th of June, Year 6 children set off on an exciting outing to Château de Chantereine, Criel-Sur-Mer, Normandy. After a three and a half hour drive, we were welcomed by the four members of staff and a delightful picnic that we prepared ourselves. Then, a while later, we enjoyed some activities such as fencing, team tech and circus tricks. Then we had a delicious 4 course dinner made by the cooks and a wonderful time doing mini olympics. Over the following 3 days we did some more activities including climbing, archery, volleyball, rock pooling, pétanque, a mini disco, a quiz, skittles, communication activities, a scrapheap challenge and more! We even had a trip to the beach where we rode a carousel and were treated with ice creams and slushies. Here are some comments from the pupils:
