Reception Trip to ‘Cabanes’ exhibition
Reception had a wonderful time at the Chanorier in Croissy. It is not far from school so we all enjoyed spotting familiar places through the bus windows!
At the Chanorier, there is an exhibition of ‘Cabanes’ which follows on beautifully from our previous visit to the Cité des Sciences. The exhibition offers many experiences for children to explore and investigate, using all of their senses. The children were able to move a pulley up and down, tie knots in ropes, hide inside an igloo made of giant water bottles…. or play drums on them, count how many reflections of themselves they could see, build cabins and tents using wood, rope and material, move branches on an indoor tree or read a book quietly. We saw some super team work as well as some intense concentration! It was a really great trip.
