The SSC Library celebrated Children’s Book Week… with a Zombie twist. Last week, zombies started appearing around campus. During this week’s assembly, the pupils were warned that zombies were coming! At the end of the assembly, we were even invaded by a few of the gruesome creatures, but luckily, the Librarian was ready for them with some brains and lured them away. During the week, we all learned how to survive a zombie apocalypse by answering zombie trivia questions and consulting zombie-themed books. Additionally, to confuse the zombies, pupils participated in brain eating contests and zombie makeup tutorials as well as a secondhand book sale every lunch time.
