Year 6 Victorian Day
On Wednesday 2nd March 2022, the Year 6 children were transported back in time to the Victorian era.
They experienced the stern education system from the industrial revolution and worked hard learning the 3Rs (Reading, Writing and Arithmetic). The boys took part in creating a boat in their woodwork class and the girls learnt how to cross-stitch their initials.
The day ended with a traditional afternoon tea with the presence of Queen Victoria herself! The children stood for the British national anthem. It was an excellent day full of historical learning and fun.
