The Eggstraordinary Egg Discovery
On the morning of Tuesday 18th January 2022, Mrs Richards (a teacher from the BSP) discovered a large, oddly shaped egg in the BSP hall.
When the pupils were walking in from the playground, Miss Wassell (Head of Year 5 & 6), dashed over to the Year 6 pupils and told them there was an emergency meeting. “I had no idea what was happening” said Ian (aged 11).
“When I saw the Egg I thought this would become a legendary discovery for the ages” exclaimed Antonio (aged 10).
The Head of the Junior School contacted The Natural History Museum; shortly after a man called Dr Horatio Bartholomew-Smythe (Chief Curator at The Natural History Museum) replied with a letter saying that they should stay away from the egg and give evidence proving the egg’s existence. The pupils and staff suspect the egg is a dragon egg.
Currently the egg is being shipped off to The Natural History Museum to be studied. They will listen to the sounds that come from the egg and use x-rays to try and understand this mythical egg and what it contains. All students are waiting to find out what this is and what it does. Dr Horatio Bartholomew-Smythe and his team are working VERY hard to find all out all the information there is on it. For more information, please visit The Natural History Museum website.
