Electricity Fun in Year 6!
Mr Cunningham (a year 6 father), who is a professional electrician, came into Year 6 on Monday to give a presentation to the Year 6 children about electricity. His talk included: parts of a motor, how motors work, AC and DC currents and power stations.
The pupils were then set the task of wiring an electric car to move it forwards and backwards. There was such excitement and a fantastic buzz in the air! The students relished the opportunity to problem solve in teams. What a wonderful way to start the week!
