Year 9 trip to Cité des Sciences
Maths and Science teachers took Year 9 to the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie museum in La Villette, Paris. We started our visit with a special viewing about black holes in the Planetarium – the good news is planet Earth is too far from a black hole for us to get sucked up and crushed!
In the afternoon, students were on the hunt for answers to the questions in their maths and science booklets. This took them to different sections of the museum including Sound, Mathematics and Objective Earth.
It was an enlightening and enriching experience for all. The museum visit proved to be a great opportunity to visualise the theory that we have been discussing in lessons. We look forward to more trips!
