Anti-bullying awareness week
This week we focused on increasing anti-bullying awareness across both school campuses.
The week kicked off with an ‘odd socks’ day and was followed up in the Senior School with a presentation from Pastoral Prefects to remind students about our anti-bullying policy and more specifically about the difference between being rude, mean and bullying.
To raise awareness of cyber-bullying and in support of anti-bullying week the Junior School held special year group assemblies. In KS2, each year group has discussed what cyber bullying is and steps on how to recognise and report it. The assemblies were mainly presented by the children with the Digital Leaders helping with the Year 5 assembly. Elsewhere around the school children have listened to stories, poems and watched short video clips about bullying.
