5T Promises and Posters
Following our mini summit and climate action events during Cop 26, Year 5 have been reflecting on how to keep the promises made both by ourselves in the“forest of promises” and by world leaders. We have made posters, taken photos of ourselves carrying out our promises and tweeted these to world leaders in order to continue the campaign of awareness needed about the future of our planet.
Sophia and Rupert have promised to cycle more instead of using the car so that less carbon is emitted from the car by burning fossil fuels (petrol and diesel). Edward and Sorayya have promised to turn the lights off when leaving a room and Rauf and Muzzamil are using less technology.
