Climbing Club Trip to Fontainebleau
Having a bright and early start we climbed onto the bus with tired faces at 9.00am for our one hour journey to Fontainebleau. By the time we arrived the sun had decided to make an appearance and the forest quickly filled with families, dogs and just a few climbers.
Immediately we split into 3 groups of 4 and with the help of Mr Manville, Mr Guinet and Mr Williams, the climbing adventure began.
It quickly became clear that bouldering is not as easy as one might think but everyone persevered and encouraged each other.
It’s safe to say that all participants, both teachers and students, thoroughly enjoyed the day so we are hoping to repeat this trip soon (but maybe not too soon – our muscles need time to recover!)
