Year 4 Team Building in St Germain Forest
Year 4 were very excited about their first educational visit to St Germain Forest for team building. The Scout leader, Mr Murphy kindly gave up his morning to come and share his shelter building expertise with the children.
We had an absolutely super time and were all impressed with the children’s skills at working as part of a team. Each team was able to build a successful shelter that all of their group could fit in to protect them from a storm. Mr Murphy even tested how waterproof the shelters were, which the class loved!
Here’s what some of the pupils thought of the trip:
Gracie – “It was really good and we did a lot of team work.”
Ethan – “I enjoyed it as I like working with others and building things.”
Asia – “Everyone worked hard and worked well together.”
Mads – “I loved being in the forest and I really liked the picnic.”
Junwoo – “Our shelter fell down, but we did not give up, we made another one!”
The teachers also thoroughly enjoyed taking the children’s learning outside of the classroom.
