Year 5 and Year 6 Accrobranche Trip

On Tuesday 28th September Year 5 and Year 6 found themselves taking part in team building and adventurous activities. Miss Wassell (Head of Phase Year 5 and Year 6) organised the opportunity for children to build on their communication and physical skills. The children were put in harnesses and listened carefully to instructions about how to clip on and off. They were then set free to explore the ‘parcours’ course. Wow – what big smiles and fun was had by all! Even Mr Potter was climbing with the children in the trees! The children enjoyed a delicious picnic lunch and discussed which courses they had completed. Many children overcame fears of heights and there was a lot of encouragement heard between the pupils. It was a wonderful experience for all and even the weather held out of us!

Ian, 6T – “This is the most fun I have ever had” (whilst whizzing down the zip line).

Makar, 6T – “This is the best way to celebrate my Birthday!”

Victoria, 6H – “Look at me! I am having so much fun!” (from the tree tops!)

Paul, 6H “It was so much fun climbing trees and ziplining as fast as cheetahs!”

Sorayya, 5T – “It was amazing that we had the whole place to ourselves.”

Chiara, 5H – “It was one of the best school trips I have ever had.”
