Alumnus helps out in the Science department
Always a pleasure to report news of our alumni and this week Harry Earle, Class of 2019, was back in school to take a look at a classroom from the other side.
Harry is currently a third year Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at Bristol university and is now strongly considering a career in teaching.
Back in the labs with some of his former teachers Harry quickly adjusted to first names and staff meetings but equally he clearly still felt at home amongst the pupils, offering them practical ideas and guidance in the classroom or in Harry’s own words:
“Coming to the BSP again has been a delightful way to observe how many of my teachers organised and presented lessons from the other side of the curtain, as well as an opportunity to help with practical skills such as experiment set up for Chemistry and assisting in lessons or clubs. It has been great to see the many changes the school has undergone since my departure, however I’m glad to say that it was still all very familiar!”
Best of luck to Harry with his future career choices, we look forward to hearing how he is getting on and to finding out which subject he eventually chooses to specialise in.
