Over the last couple of weeks, Year 2 have been learning about the life and works of Vincent Van Gogh.
The children have recreated one of his famous paintings, ‘Starry Night’, using yellow, blue and purple paints and altering their tone and shade by adding white.
The focus has been on using small paintbrush flecks to build up the image and where possible to produce the swirling effect in the colours.
This week, the works of art were completed by adding black paper cut outs to reproduce the foreground images.
