World Toilet Day
“Toilet Twinning” is the Year 7s’ chosen charity so World Toilet Day on Thursday 19th November was the perfect opportunity for our pupils to raise awareness about the importance of sanitation and also raise funds to twin yet more BSP toilets with toilets around the world. By twinning a toilet we help fund a project in a poor community that will enable families to build a basic toilet, have access to clean water and learn about hygiene – a vital combination that saves lives.
Thank you to all who engaged in the activities on the day, especially the plucky Year 7s who took part in the gruelling squatting challenge!
