Bronze Expedition Complete
Having carefully planned a two day expedition, which included setting their own goals and working out how to cover 16-18km each day, twenty four Bronze Dof participants finally set off on their Adventurous Journey last weekend. They walked in and around the Croissy/St Germain/Marly-le-Roi area, supervised on day one but alone thereafter, camping on the BSP grounds at night and journeying during the day. During the weekend the participants were challenged to navigate with only a compass and a map, demonstrate basic first aid, outdoor cooking with a trangia, setting up camp, and packing their kits away. All team members worked well despite the unfortunate COVID restrictions. Many congratulations to everyone for taking part and for putting in their very best effort, well done.
