The Ugly Duckling in Reception
Reception children have certainly been working hard this week!
After listening to the story of ‘The Ugly Duckling’, children have been busy imagining how they would have helped by writing a letter to the ugly duckling, explaining what they would do.
They also made some stick puppets to help retell the story in their own words. Then they made a story map of the story and even made a book of their very own version of the story – what a lot of work!
