Reading Buddies
At the end of last term, we made pop up books in DT. We used a variety of mechanisms, including wheels, levers and linkages, pop ups and sliders.
Then we wrote a story to go with our mechanisms. Each and every one of us were very excited at the prospect of reading our books to Reception, and this week our eagerly awaited opportunity arrived.
On Monday, 3T read to both Reception classes. Everyone agreed that it was so much fun, especially as the children loved playing with our books.
