Visiting author – Teri Terry

Teri Terry is remarkable for many reasons – not only that her first and second name are homophones, but also her YA dystopian novels beginning with ‘Slated’ in 2012 (which ominously predicted an isolationist Britain before Brexit was even a word).

Years 8 and 9 enjoyed meeting the author this week, learning about the writer’s life (and the writer’s cute cockerpoo Scooby).

Years 10 and 11 participated in a writers’ workshop, in which Teri gave them some of her photographs taken as research for her books as a writing prompt.
