Sports Day 2019
The annual Sports Day took place under a blue sky at the Stade des Merlettes facility in Le Vésinet. The heats of the track events took place during the course of the morning, along with the long jump and vortex throw field events. So that all were involved, there was also a board game area where a number of students took part in a chess and draughts tournament. There was even a House banner making competition run by the Art Department that added to the competitive flavour of the day. The afternoon saw the final of the track events and included the all-important House relays. In the individual events there were three new School records set.
As well as providing great athletic feats, the day also allowed our charity committee to raise nearly 400 euros for charity by selling refreshments and cakes throughout the event.
A big thank you to all those staff who helped during the day, to those parents who came to support the children and congratulations to all the pupils who took part.
