Year 9 plastic litter monster
This #plasticmonster built by students clearly illustrates that we all need to #BreakFreeFromPlastic, especially single-use plastics that pollute our waterways. Only 9% of all plastics produced has ever been recycled so the message has to be – responsible consumption not just recycling.
The vast majority of our monster “lion” was built from single use plastic rubbish collected from just one year group – Year 9. The monster was built in an afternoon as a fun but educational project post exams.
