Year 1 Bugtastic Mini Beast Hunt

The Year One explorers set out on a hunt for the mysterious Mini-Beasts of the Senior School!

Armed with magnifying glasses, collecting pots and mini-beast catching nets they crept through the grass to a secret world of the most amazing creatures. Who could have known that so many mini-beasts would be living in our own school’s garden?

But the highlight was finding an ant town under a large stone and then watching the colony of ants carry their eggs and larvae to a safer place far from our explorers’ eyes.
