Year 1 Trip to Le Bourget

Year 1 went on a visit to the Air and Space Museum at Le Bourget. 

The children were fascinated to see life size satellites and rockets. There was an exhibition that showed astronauts landing on the moon and an example of the type of capsule they could return to Earth in. 

The children were able to sit inside a Dakota aircraft and imagine they were about to parachute out. There was also a sea rescue helicopter with a film simulating that the children were part of the rescue team!
