Pi Recitation Competition
The first “Pi recitation” competition organised by the Maths Department to celebrate Pi Day (March 14th) was a huge success and something surely to be repeated. Representatives from the three Houses gamely competed against each other to try to remember as many digits as possible.
To everyone’s amazement, a Year 7 pupil managed a staggering 213 digits after the decimal point to be crowned overall winner on the day.
In terms of Houses, Porthos came out on top closely followed by d’Artagnan and then Aramis.
Well done to all who took part – you have made the Maths Faculty extremely proud.
