The Honourable Gerry Weiner
The Honourable Gerry Weiner, former Canadian Minister for Immigration and Secretary of State, spoke to a group of Sixth Form students. They all enjoyed an inspiring talk that started with his humble beginnings, moving through his career highlights including an impressive number of meetings with Heads of State such as Nelson Mandela, Bill Clinton, Shimon Perez and Margaret Thatcher, then on to Canadian immigration policies that he played an instrumental role in shaping, and finishing with a Q&A session for staff and students.
