Spanish Trip to Granada

Our Spanish GCSE and A Level students visited one of the most beautiful towns in Andalusia: Granada.

After Spanish lessons in the mornings, we explored the town. We had the chance to walk along its charming streets and districts reminiscing about its Muslim, Jewish and Christian heritage – the three cultures that converged and coexisted in Granada in the past.

Our students were very impressed by the magnificent Alhambra, its splendid architecture and gardens. Students also enjoyed some Spanish culinary traditions. After a great first day, we ate some delicious chocolate con churros which students loved!

The next day the students had a guided tour in the enchanting Albaicin district with its spectacular viewpoints of the Alhambra and Muslim tea shops. The students loved this beautiful, warm and welcoming city and learning about Spain’s traditions and heritage.
