EYFS Trip to Ferme de Gally

An apple a day…

This week, the Nursery and Reception classes enjoyed a perfect autumnal morning at the Ferme de Gally’s apple orchards.

The sky was blue and the sun was shining as the children donned their wellington boots and boarded the buses.

After some singing and playing games spotting things on their journey, the children were ready to fill their bags with the juiciest and biggest apples they could find. There was plenty of tasting on the way up and down the aisles and the bags bulged as they were heaved back to the buses, not before filling a wheelbarrow with some interesting looking seasonal pumpkins!

Back to the classroom for lots of discussion, investigating, sorting, counting, comparing, painting, measuring and best of all, cooking!
