Year 1 Trip to the Butterfly Farm
Year 1 went on an outing to a local Butterfly Farm. Before going on the trip the children prepared some questions which they then asked Isabelle, the farm’s resident butterfly expert.
Inside the butterfly conservatory the children had the opportunity to observe many beautiful butterflies and moths. The butterflies were so close the children could count the butterflies’ legs, see their antennae and even watch the butterflies sipping nectar from the flowers. The children were fascinated watching a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis!
