Year 5 Trip to Auvergne
Our Year 5 intrepid adventurers headed to Auvergne for a 3 day/2 night stay in the Chaîne des Puys region.
The visit is one of the highlights of life in Year 5 and all of the children, and the eight accompanying staff, had the most wonderful time.
They did orienteering, took a train to visit a crater and then on to the summit of Puy-de-Dôme. They also visited the Vulcania theme park where they learnt more still about volcanoes. The entire visit was superb and Year 5 can be very proud of their achievements over the past few days.
