UN Sustainable Development Goals
Taking care of the planet was the focus of a school debate during Thursday lunchtime. Teams debated between four UN sustainable development goals: No Poverty, Climate Action, Peace & Justice, and Gender Equality.
Senior School students then voted to decide which of these should join the three goals selected by the school and the staff. The result is that the students have selected Climate Action (2nd: No Poverty, 3rd: Gender Equality, 4th: Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions).
The School will, therefore, focus on supporting:
- Quality Education
- Responsible Consumption and Production
- Good Health and Well-being
- And Climate Action
These four UN Sustainable Development goals will form the framework of our Community and Service programme. In addition to this the staff are already referring to and stressing the relevance and importance of these goals in class.
