EYFS Trip to La Ferme de Gally
Our Elephant Reception Class and Bear Nursery Class chose a beautiful autumnal day to put on their welly boots for their annual trip to La Ferme de Gally. The sun shone down on the children and their adult helpers as they wandered through the vegetable patches searching for the juiciest carrots and sweetest smelling onions.
Some digging and wiggling and pulling was required to get the best vegetables out of the ground. Getting their hands dirty, the children enthusiastically engaged in the task and each bag was heavy laden with their fresh organic produce ready to take back to the classroom for further investigation.
On the way out of the farm there was just enough time to choose some ripe red apples to add to the collection. And one enormous pumpkin!
Back to school in time for lunch after working up an appetite, the children had a fantastic outing and made memories that will last forever. Now, where are the recipes for pumpkin soup and carrot cake?
