GCSE Art Trip to Le Bourget
Our budding artists took an unlikely art trip to the Air and Space Museum for a spot of drawing and photography. This trip and the studies they produced kick start the themes they will be focusing on as part of their coursework.
Year 10 begin to explore the theme ‘Journey’ with vehicles playing a significant role at this early stage. Where better to be than in hangars, surrounded by Mirage aeroplanes, helicopters and the magnificent (if a little grounded) Concorde? Year 11 will use their material to link in their theme ‘Above and Below’ as we move onto exploring all things ‘Above’.
