Geography A Level has got off to a strong early start to this term. Fifteen students carried out their fieldwork in the Barcelona area as part of their Independent Investigation (20% of their A Level).
The city of Barcelona presents world-class case studies that the Edexcel A Level chief examiner uses. The focus was the urban rebranding of El Raval brought about by the 1992 Olympic Games, and an assessment of coastal processes and their management along one of Europe’s most famous sea fronts.
