Brendan McCann arrived at the school in September 2006 from the Farnborough Sixth Form College.
Initially recruited into the Physical Education department Brendan arrived with particular expertise in rugby and rowing having competed in both at a high level in his native South Africa.
In 2009 he was promoted to the Head of Extra Curricular Activities and charged with expanding participation and provision of activities in the Senior School. With a particular interest in the transient nature of our student population, in 2010 Brendan began a Masters in International Education at the University of Bath focusing on Intercultural Sensitivity. In 2012 Brendan was promoted to his current position as Head of Pastoral Care. He is still very much involved in the extra and co-curricular activities at the school with involvement in coaching rugby, cross-country and working with students in the Fitness Centre.
Brendan is a member of the BSPS, the School’s parents’ association and outside of School, he is the head coach of the British Rugby Club of Paris.
