Leaders in the Junior School have carefully planned the curriculum so that it meets the aptitudes and needs of pupils who have a wide range of interests. Visiting professionals support teachers in developing pupils’ talents in, for example, music and art.

Here at The British School of Paris Junior School we strive to provide excellence in teaching and good learning habits for all in the school community. We aim to instil in our children a passion for learning that will stay with them for life. Learning at the BSP is challenging and appropriate across all curriculum areas.

The BSP curriculum is centred on the National Curriculum for England. This is a curriculum of considerable breadth and depth which we further enhance by offering a wide range of co-curricular activities.

Our school is a kind school and new children and families are welcomed warmly into the BSP community. There is an evident spirit of friendship, pupils feel happy and thrive in our care. The pastoral care provided by the staff team is outstanding and we deem it imperative, particularly during a child’s formative years, that resilience, kindness, compassion, consideration for others, and positive physical and mental health are integral to the daily workings of our school.

With our high performing teaching and support team, inquisitive children and a supportive parent body, there is truly no limit to what can be achieved in a learning environment such as ours. So, whether you are an existing member of our community or a prospective parent, I hope that the information found on this website gives you a helpful overview of the BSP.

We encourage prospective parents to arrange a visit to see, first-hand, our teaching and learning in action. We would love to hear from you and it would be our pleasure to offer you a personal tour of The British School of Paris Junior School.
