Junior School
The changing programme, run by teachers, volunteer parents and specialists, includes sports, art, music, cookery, orchestra, French activities, drama, dancing and ICT, as well as gymnastics, tennis, Rainbows, Brownies, Beavers and Cubs.
Towards the end of Year 6, pupils enjoy an action-packed activity week in the Ardèche, or more recently in Normandy, where a variety of exciting outdoor pursuits are experienced. Throughout the academic year other school trips are planned.
Leaders meet the School’s aim of building pupils’ character alongside their academic achievement by timetabling co-curricular activities each week. Pupils commit enthusiastically to a wide range of opportunities, including voluntary service, sport, drama and The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Scheme (DofE). The Junior and Senior School curriculums are enriched by relevant trips to Paris and abroad.
