What a fantastic weekend for our U14 netball team! On Saturday morning, BSP played host to Bede Academy in a match that showcased not just individual talent, but the power of cohesive teamwork. From the first whistle, our players took control of the court; the chemistry within the squad was evident as they navigated the thirds with precision and speed. The final score, an 18–7 victory for BSP, was a true reflection of their hard work and discipline.
While the scoreline is impressive, the real highlight was the brilliant collaborative play. The defensive unit worked tirelessly to intercept passes and disrupt Bede’s flow, while the mid-court transitions were fluid and clinical. Our shooters remained calm under pressure, converting the majority of their opportunities to keep the scoreboard ticking over.
It wasn’t just about the goals, though; it was about the support shown for one another. The girls played with a “team-first” mentality that was truly inspiring to watch from the sidelines. This victory provides a massive boost to the girls’ confidence as they move further into the season.
