The Junior School children were recently treated to a wonderful session of Irish music and dance. The strains of Irish jigs and reels could be heard as a small group of Le Vésinet Irish Dancers, comprising both Junior and Senior BSP students and led by their teacher Jackie, took to the stage and thrilled everyone with their fabulous group dances.

Mrs Lockhart and her musician friends from the ‘O’ Champoe Sessions’ kept a steady beat as the Junior School children ended the Assembly with a newly created BSP Irish dance to the music of ‘The Rakes of Mallow’.

There was certainly ceol agus craic (music and fun) to be had and everyone enjoyed a memorable experience.
