Le théâtre en 6e année
6T have been closely studying a short film by Aidan Gibbons called ‘The Piano’.
It is a moving piece about an old man’s reminiscence of significant moments and people in his life, set to music.
In order to get into the character’s mind-set, children worked in groups and re-enacted parts from the film, while one member narrated.
They used a magnificent array of vocabulary to portray the raw emotion of the film, and this is really coming across now that they have started writing their own version of ‘The Piano’.
