Cambodge 2018
Our first visit to the schools that we have built and funded in Cambodia through United World Schools departs on 19th October. The group of 12 Year 13 students will work in Bak Kae and La Meuy schools for 5 days. They will be teaching lessons and different skills, with the help of translators to over 400 pupils who now regularly go to school. Their stories and experiences are supporting the fact that education plays an important role in securing the future of rural villages in northern Cambodia, not to mention the future of our commitment to fund education in Cambodia until 2030. They are a motivated group who have been involved in many different volunteering opportunities throughout the last year. For example several have been volunteering at a social garden project in Achères where they enjoy cutting down vegetation and building new fences.
