The Welcome Service

Moving from your home country can be unsettling and disruptive, we are here to help you find your feet.

The British School of Paris prides itself on its Welcome Service, which helps families integrate fully into their new lives overseas. Practical help, information and resources are provided via a network of Area Welcome Representatives and by our Registrar, Kate Dufraisse.

Area Welcome Representatives are volunteer parents of pupils at the BSP. The aim is to have a port of call for all those initial niggling questions you may have, together with information about local services from plumbing to paediatrics. The Welcome representatives also share details of forthcoming events, clubs and associations in your area such as Mum and Toddler groups, French lessons book clubs, etc.

We were all new once and we want to do everything we possibly can to ensure that you and your family acclimatise to life in France as quickly as possible.
